The last week of tractorgirl’s holidays at the beach with her family. There’s more music, but the mood is changing again, moving from gentle thoughts of distant things to emerging from the salt-haze and becoming more present. There’s a sense of expectancy in the air, and we’re just about to hit the ground running…

I do not love everything The Knife have done, but when they hit it, they hit it gooooood. This is an absolute standout track for me from the album Breaking the Habitual. I’m addicted to its bamboo resonance and its snappy pace; too fast to move my feet to, but it sends my head places.
