The last week of tractorgirl’s holidays at the beach with her family. There’s more music, but the mood is changing again, moving from gentle thoughts of distant things to emerging and becoming more present.

Hanging onto the vestiges of space and memory, there is sorrow for what is not endless.
Sam Amidon spent time travelling around the US collecting traditional and old songs, which he subsequently recorded for the album Bright Sunny South. Some reinterpretations are brash, some are a bit poppy, and some are utterly beautiful, like Short Life.
