Gabriela Larios is a Salvadoran surface designer and illustrator based in London. She moved to London in 2007 when she received an Alban scholarship to go to Camberwell College of Arts to obtain her Master of Arts.

Since then she has been working from her home based studio producing prints for textiles, wallpaper and homewares for clients in North America, Asia and the UK.

Inspired by her childhood experiences in El Salvador, her work is whimsical and sweet, in a soft and bright palette.

Her current project is a range of limited edition cushions, where she has combined her love for patterns, illustration and textiles. The designs continue her inspiration themes of the natural world, imaginary stories, and folklore. One of her aims with this range was to support local makers, and they are all made in Britain by local artisans and printed with eco friendly inks on natural fibres.
