Alice Potter is a designer and illustrator living and working in London. She graduated from Chelsea College of Art and Design in 2008, and has already done a heap of great work!
Alice has designed t-shirts and greeting cards for Ohh Deer, a record sleeve for charity event Secret 7″, and her own calendar, as well as writing and illustrating a children’s book. And she has recently designed a range of fabrics for Swatch Loft.
I love her gorgeous illustrative style and her hand-drawn aesthetic. She has an obvious love of flowers, gardens, and animals, as well as an eye for sweet little geometric pattern details, with spots, stripes, and chevrons all featuring. Her colours are soft and rich, centred around corals and dusky greens, balanced with touches of indigo and lemon yellow.
You should really check out her illustrations. Isn’t this fox just the bee’s knees?
You can find more of Alice’s work on her website http://alicepotter.co.uk/, and you can buy some of her prints and products in her Etsy shop. Generously, she also has made some of her designs available for download as wallpaper here!
